Understanding Sales Reports in CODRocket
CODRocket's analytics and reporting tools give you deep insights into your business performance. From daily sales summaries to detailed product-level analysis, understanding these reports helps you make data-driven decisions that improve revenue and reduce costs. This guide explains every report available and how to interpret the data.
Accessing Sales Reports
Navigate to Analytics > Sales Reports from the left sidebar. Use the date range picker at the top to select your analysis period: today, last 7 days, last 30 days, this month, last month, or a custom range.
Revenue Overview
The revenue overview provides a high-level summary of your financial performance:
- Total Revenue: The sum of all COD payments collected from delivered orders in the selected period
- Average Order Value (AOV): Total revenue divided by the number of delivered orders. Tracking AOV helps you measure the impact of upselling and pricing strategies
- Revenue Trend: A line chart showing daily or weekly revenue over time, making it easy to spot growth trends or seasonal patterns
- Revenue by Source: Break down revenue by order source (Website, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Manual) to identify your most profitable marketing channels
Order Analytics
Understand your order volume and conversion metrics:
- Total Orders: Number of orders created in the period
- Confirmed Orders: Orders verified with the customer
- Delivered Orders: Successfully delivered and payment collected
- Returned Orders: Orders refused or failed delivery
- Delivery Rate: (Delivered / Shipped) x 100%. This is the most critical KPI for COD businesses
- Confirmation Rate: (Confirmed / Total) x 100%. Low confirmation rates may indicate poor lead quality from certain marketing channels
Product Performance Report
Analyze how each product contributes to your business:
| Metric | What It Tells You |
|---|---|
| Units Sold | Total quantity of each product delivered |
| Revenue per Product | Total revenue generated by each product |
| Return Rate per Product | Which products have the highest return rates, helping you identify quality or expectation issues |
| Profit Margin | If you have entered cost prices, see profit margin per product |
Geographic Performance

- Revenue by City: Identify your most profitable geographic markets
- Delivery Success by Zone: See which areas have the highest and lowest delivery success rates
- Average Delivery Time by Zone: Understand where deliveries take longest
