Managing Invoices and Receipts in CODRocket
CODRocket automatically generates invoices and receipts for every subscription payment. This guide shows you how to access, download, and manage your billing documents for accounting and tax purposes.
Accessing Your Invoices
- Navigate to Settings > Billing
- Click the "Billing History" tab
- You will see a chronological list of all payments with dates, amounts, and statuses
Invoice Details
Each invoice includes:
- Invoice Number: A unique identifier for your records
- Date: The date the payment was processed
- Plan: The subscription plan name
- Period: The billing period covered (e.g., March 1 - March 31, 2025)
- Amount: The total amount charged in your billing currency
- Payment Method: The card or payment method used (last 4 digits)
- Status: Paid, Pending, or Failed
Downloading Invoices
To download an invoice as a PDF:
- In the Billing History list, locate the invoice
- Click the "Download PDF" button on the right side
- The invoice PDF is generated with your business details and is ready for your accounting records
Customizing Invoice Information
To add your business details to invoices for tax and accounting purposes:
- Go to Settings > Billing > Invoice Settings
- Enter your business information:
- Company legal name
- Tax ID / ICE number (for Morocco)
- Business address
- Contact email for billing
- Click "Save"
- All future invoices will include this information. You can also regenerate past invoices with updated details
Automatic Email Receipts
CODRocket automatically sends email receipts after each successful payment to:
- The account owner's email address
- Any additional billing contacts you configure in Settings > Billing > Notifications
Failed Payment Invoices
If a payment fails, a "Failed" invoice is created in your billing history. This helps you track billing issues. Once the payment is successfully retried or manually resolved, a new "Paid" invoice replaces it.
Tax Information
CODRocket invoices include applicable tax information based on your business location. For businesses in Morocco, VAT (TVA) is included where applicable. If you need special tax handling or are tax-exempt, contact our support team with your documentation.
